Webinar on board responsibility

The course provides a brief introduction to professional liability and board liability. We will conduct a general review of the liability conditions that must be met for a board member or professional practitioner to be liable for damages, and aim in particular to shed light on the liability standard in various areas of professional liability and board liability using examples from case law.

The purpose is to provide participants with insight into where the boundaries lie for when a board member or professional can be held liable, and which acts or omissions are usually covered by their directors' and officers' liability insurance.

Lawyers Øyvind Kilstad and Lotte Lundby Kristiansen will provide information and practical examples relating to the most important rules for board liability and other related legal matters.
