Romerike Sparebank is establishing an office in Jessheim. The bank will co-locate there with the law firm Halvorsen & Co, which is already well established in the town. The collaboration brings together a wide range of expertise under one roof, to the benefit of the customer.
"We know we're quite similar," smiles Lotte Lundby Kristiansen, Managing Partner at Advokat Halvorsen & Co.
- We share a set of values and are committed to being accessible and present for our customers. We are local businesses, committed to the local community. Our roots are deep and our history is long. We are two companies that know Romerike, and that is a crucial factor in many customer relationships.
Lawyer Halvorsen & Co is already well established and has a large portfolio in Jessheim.
-"For several years, you've been able to find us in what is popularly known as the yellow house. We've had a good time here, but now we're in the process of outgrowing our premises. So it was very fitting that a good partner like Romerike Sparebank wanted to establish itself here. We want to build on our local roots and facilitate further growth," says Kristiansen.
A common goal of growth and local anchoring
- "We're simply a good match," agrees Siri Berggreen, Managing Director of Romerike Sparebank. Both the bank and the law firm offer services to both private and business customers. -"Together, we contribute to good and sustainable growth for local businesses. Upper Romerike is the number one growth area, and Jessheim is attractive to both businesses and families on the move. "We are committed to providing good advice," she continues. "Our areas of expertise are different, but together we have a broad reach. By co-locating, we make it easier for customers to get legal and financial advice. Law and finance are two subjects that often go hand in hand, whether it's about property, loans or changing life situations.
Closer to the customer
Romerike Sparebank is establishing itself in Jessheim as part of the bank's strategy to be the bank for you in Romerike.
The bank already has several premises in the region, but now wants to be physically available to more of its customers in Øvre Romerike.
- We already have many customers in and around Jessheim, but no physical offices. We want to change that. Romerike has two towns, and it's natural for us to establish ourselves where we find our customers. Jessheim is a natural centre point between the branches
our offices in Nedre Romerike, and the relatively new office at Råholt," says Berggreen.
In search of suitable premises
New, shared premises have not yet been finalised, but we have two or three options we are looking into. The plan is to sign a lease by the summer and plan the start-up. -"We're looking for premises that we can grow in and that facilitate a social workplace. Both the law firm and the bank have high ambitions for a workplace that invites employees to thrive," says Kristiansen.
We want to create a workplace with a high level of commitment and room for development. -And we are very excited about entering Jessheim together with Advokat Halvorsen & Co," concludes Berggreen.
