NAV occupational injury

• Your employer is obliged to submit a notice of injury to NAV and to report the injury to Labour Inspection Authority.
• By «recognised occupational injury» from NAV, you have a number of benefits in the NAV system.
• You are also entitled to compensation for loss of earnings if the accident has made you 15 per cent permanently medically disabled, or more.

You are usually also entitled to compensation under your employer's occupational injury insurance. The insurance company is then obliged to pay for your reasonable and necessary legal expenses.
