Press release: Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co AS is taking new steps - we are expanding and strengthening our legal practice in the follo region.

Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co AS and Advokatfirmaet Helland Ingebrigtsen DA will merge on 1 November 2022.

From 1 November 2022, Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co will expand and strengthen its legal practice by merging with Advokatfirmaet Helland Ingebrigtsen DA, including its many skilled employees. The merged company will continue to operate under the name Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co AS.

After the merger, Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co AS will have five partners, more than 30 lawyers and seven administrative employees. After the merger, Halvorsen & Co will operate in Lillestrøm, Ski, Jessheim and Aurskog.

From Advokatfirmaet Helland Ingebrigtsen DA, seven skilled lawyers, including one of the founders, lawyer Øystein Helland, are joining us.

This makes Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co AS Viken's third largest law firm in terms of turnover. The goal for Advokatfirmaet Halvorsen & Co AS is a turnover of over
NOK. 70 million in 2023, making the company the seventh largest in Norway outside Oslo (based on 2021 figures).

We have very broad expertise in corporate law, tax, restructuring of companies, property development, purchase and sale of companies, etc.»

In the field of personal injury law, the two departments will constitute one of Norway's foremost and presumably largest professional environments within everything that encompasses compensation settlements, whether they arise from traffic accidents, occupational accidents, patient injuries, leisure injuries, etc. Thomas Christian Wangen, partner and head of the compensation and insurance law practice group, says: «In collaboration with our good colleagues in Lillestrøm and Ski, we look forward to further developing what is already one of the country's leading and experienced professional environments in tort law on the injured party side.»
