Monica Melgård

Monica Melgård is a senior lawyer specialising in family and inheritance law. She heads the firm's department in this area of law. She is also a permanent assistant attorney at Romerike and Glåmdal District Court and undertakes assignments in labour law. She has particular experience of private international law in the field of family and child law, and has been placed on the Ministry of Justice's list of lawyers with particular expertise in international child abduction. Monica has extensive experience of litigation before the courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution and negotiations. Monica Melgård has been a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's disciplinary committee for a long time. She has served on the board of the Romerike circuit of the Norwegian Bar Association, and is now chair of the circuit. She is also head of the personal law group in Eurojuris.
