• Aerosol impact, i.e. where hazardous substances are mixed with air and sprayed so that they are finely distributed

Disease caused by radiation energy

Radiation damage from exposure to:

• Radium and other radioactive substances
• X-rays

Hearing loss due to noise from machines, tools, processes and more

- Tinnitus and hearing loss

Lung diseases caused by exposure to finely divided substances

Diseases of the arms and hands, including vasospastic syndrome in the hands and neuropathies, when the disease is caused by vibrations transmitted from vibrating machines, pneumatic tools, jackhammers and the like

Diseases caused by infection

1. During work in a laboratory where you work with the infectious agent in question

During work at a doctor's or dentist's office, social services office, in medical institutions, social institutions, outpatient clinics, children's homes, old people's homes and the like, or in other occupational activities where the activities take place in environments with a particular risk of disease or infection.

• Other infectious diseases when the occupationally injured person has suffered a complication from the brain and/or spinal cord, heart, kidneys or joint
• Serum hepatitis and diseases with a similar mode of infection, including AIDS and HIV infection
• Paratyphoid B, other salmonellosis and dysentery when the disease is followed by a prolonged or constant carrier state
• Infection with methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
• Covid-19 with serious complications
• While working with animals or plants suffering from an infection caused by the infectious agent in question, or while working with animal or plant products that are infected by the infectious agent.

Diseases after vaccination that are related to the profession

Diseases such as:

• Effects of cold and low temperature when working in the Arctic
• Effects of strong heat and sun when working in tropical or subtropical regions.
